Students will be asked to play a total of 3 choruses: The head, 12 bars of Bb Blues Improvisation, and the head again.

*Trumpet and Trombone players will have the option to play excerpts down an octave if necessary. They must notify the judge of this change before they audition.

JAZZ COMBO AUDITIONS: There is NO LONGER a separate combo audition.  However, students that WANT to also be considered for combo will include additional material at the end of their regular jazz audition video.  Students will record a minimum of TWO choruses of Bb Rhythm Changes from Aebersold’s volume 47, track 13.
