Junior Chorus Auditions

Please visit the Chorus Division Audition Information Page for this year's statewide audition material and watch this space for the announcement of your district-specific audition selection.

Beginning in 2024-2025, each junior level chorus audition will include one statewide selection (chosen by the Chorus Division President) and one district selection (chosen by the District Junior Chorus Representative).

Senior Chorus Auditions

One prepared selection will be taken from the State Choral Selections. Audition material for the second prepared selection will be taken from one of the District 1 Festival Choral Selections.

We continue to implement a cap for auditions.  You will be able to send 4 students per divisi for a total of 32 singers.  Schools with choral program enrollment of over 175 will be given an additional "Flex 8" of voice parts of their choosing.  An administrator will need to verify program enrollment to qualify for the "Flex 8."

District choir directors will be serving as room monitors during auditions.  Please plan ahead to sign up to work for half (or all) of the evening in an audition room.  Details and sign-ups will be provided at the beginning of the school year.
