ILMEA is excited to announce the launch of our Presenters Bureau, a network of expert clinicians dedicated to supporting music educators across Illinois. We are seeking talented presenters to apply to join our core team, offering professional development sessions both virtually and in-person. 

Why Join?

Potential Topics of Interest:

  • Diverse, equitable, and inclusive classrooms

  • Rehearsal techniques (band, choir, orchestra)

  • Educator and student mental health and wellness

  • Strategies for small, urban, and rural schools

  • Supporting students with special needs

  • Integrating technology in the music classroom

  • Teaching music technology and digital music classes

  • Evaluating and supporting music teachers

What We Look For:

  • Engaging, practical sessions that address real-world challenges

  • Presentations ranging from 60 minutes to a full day

ON THE APPLICATION FORM:

Prior to starting this application, please ensure you have the following materials ready as they are required to complete the application:

  1. Clinician Information:  Name, address, and full-time position details

  2. Resume

  3. Headshot

  4. Co-clinician Documentation (if applicable)

  5. Two references who have seen you present or teach within the past five years or can speak to your content knowledge

  6. Samples of Past Presentations: (handouts, recordings/videos, pictures, slides, documents)

  7. Presentation Information (Titles, descriptions, and session lengths of potential presentations)
